• M.Sc. in Geology from Neuchâtel University, Switzerland, and Tech. Licentiate and PhD in Ore Geology from the Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden.
• >20 years experience in mineral exploration in industry, academia and government. Mineral exploration and ore deposits research as a geologist and geochemist at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), LTU, Crew Development Corporation, Mindex ASA, Nunaoil AS and Boliden Exploration AB, and as an active consultant to the mining industry.
• EurGeol title since 2011, title No. 930 registered at the European Federation of Geologists (Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 able to sign off reports for stock exchanges).
• Fellow of the Association of Applied Geochemists (AAG), since 2000
• Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG), since 2001
• Regular member of the Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits (SGA), since 2002
• Since 2011 Member (cert) of the Swiss Association of Geologists, CHGEOL
• Since 2017 Member and Treasurer of the Swiss National Committee of the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS)
• Extensive experience in mineral exploration in Sweden, Greenland and Norway and responsibility as a project geologist in the development of the Nalunaq gold deposit in Southern Greenland. Involved in the exploration of base metal deposits in Norway and extensive work experience on several VMS Zn-Pb-Cu-Au-Ag deposits in Northern Sweden.
• Leader for three large expeditions in South-West Greenland for the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
• Proven track record in mineral exploration including the application of geochemical exploration, lithogeochemical techniques and the application of facies mapping towards mineral exploration.
• Actively participating in Sciences through contributions to scientific work; member of ResearchGate
• Founded “Helvetica Exploration Services GmbH” in 2011; a consulting company with limited liability based in Switzerland specialised in providing world-wide consulting services to the exploration and mining industry.
• Holds a Medical Certificate for Seafarers, Swiss Navigation Office SMNO, Swiss Confederation, Certificate MC-2015-0013, according to the STCW and Maritime labour conventions.
• Swiss citizen, residing in Zürich, Switzerland and fluent in Swiss German (mother tongue), German, English and French, and with a working knowledge of Danish, Swedish and Norwegian.
